Copywriting for English Websites

  • Copywriting for English websites must be professionally done, in perfectly toned and targeted English.

  • It should be designed to keep users reading – every word counts.

  • Focus on presenting benefits to the customer, not on describing your company or products.

  • The customers’ needs, hopes and requirements matter, your’s don’t!

  • Everything should clear, easy to understand and written as though you are talking to a friend.

  • Always be closing – the aim is to get response.

Copywriting for English websites is an art in itself. For most businesses your website is the face of your business. This is how you introduce yourself and your customers to your products and services. The biggest mistake most businesses make is ignoring the importance of your copy – what you say to your market. Copywriting is an art and a skilled profession. You need a real copywriter, experienced and skilled in the art, to make the points you want to make and to convert website visitors into customers.

Our Services

  • We will write your copy in good, persuasive and, most importantly, grammatically and lexically appropriate English.

  • Our work will be based on the keywords you send us and will be written in such a way as to improve your SEO.

  • It is important to understand how internet users search for information and potential business partners. We write copy that is clear and easy-to-understand and that leads the user on the journey you want them to go on.

  • We will generate copy based on your brief and in line with your corporate branding and messaging.

  • You will find our services useful for individual jobs as well as ongoing website editing and maintenance.

The Process

Defining the brief: you will send us an initial brief outlining the scope of the work (e.g. is this a one-off editing job, or do you need ongoing maintenance of your website), the target audience, the website and copy you want our help with and style guidelines based on your corporate branding

We will review the information you submit, calculate how much work we need to do on it, and then get back to you with a proposal. We will include what we expect to do, the time we expect it  to take and then send you an offer.

Once you have received the offer you can either accept it immediately, or arrange a consultation to discuss the project. You are under no obligation to accept the offer until this stage. Once the offer is accepted, we will work on the first draft and send it to you.

There may be corrections, new thoughts, or other input from you. That is expected. We include this revision in the initial quote, so you have the opportunity to give us feedback at this point. Once we receive your feedback, we will make the changes requested, and deliver the copy for your website. Naturally, we will work with you to ensure that you are fully satisfied with the final product.
